FIS Skisprung Weltcup Willingen, Sauerland, 2.-4. Februar 2024

Every year in winter, Willingen becomes the focus of the sporting events when the best ski jumpers in the world go on a long distance hunt at the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup on the Mühlenkopfschanze. Those who are up close and personal with this event for the first time often take their breath away when they see the ski eagles walking over the Bakken, the largest ski jump in the world, and flying far down into the valley. Experience the gigantic atmosphere at the Mühlenkopf and feel goosebumps arise when the ski jumpers are cheered on with a collective "Zieeeeeeeeh" from over 20,000 throats and accompanied downstairs. And it goes far down: The hill record of 153 meters has been held by Polish ski jumper Klemens Muranka since 2021.

The ski season starts in march with the snowboard parallel competitions in Winterberg. This is how the 120 best snowboarders in the world compete against each other. They do this in parallel slalom snowboard for men and women. The training days are always before the games.

IXS Dirt Masters Festival Winterberg, 17. Mai - 20 . Mai 2024

Every year, the international biker scene meets at the Bikepark Winterberg for Europe's largest gravity event. At the iXS Dirt Masters Festival, sport and fun are in the foreground! Bike Festival Willingen, 24. Mai - 27 . Mai 2024

Once a year, Willingen is the venue for Germany's most important mountain bike event. The largest German outdoor trade fair in the MTB sector with well-known exhibitors and 35,000 enthusiastic visitors offers an ideal platform to test the latest products in the scene.
